We're hiring experienced Skilled Masonry Workers for upcoming projects. Position Overview As a Skilled Masonry Worker, you will be responsible for performing high-quality masonry work on commercial and/or residential projects. This role requires hands-on experience, the ability to work independently, and a strong understanding of masonry techniques, materials, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities - Lay brick, block, and stone according to project specifications - Perform tuckpointing, repairs, and restoration work - Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings - Mix mortar and ensure proper material consistency - Measure and cut materials accurately - Ensure proper alignment, level, and structural integrity - Maintain clean and safe job sites - Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times - Work efficiently with crew members and supervisors to meet deadlines Qualifications - 3 years of verifiable masonry experience preferred - Strong knowledge of brick, block, and stone installation - Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions - Reliable transportation - Basic masonry tools - Work authorization in the U.S. - OSHA-10 preferred but not required - Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor conditions What We Offer - Competitive pay based on experience - Opportunities for advancement - Stable company with consistent upcoming projects - Plus more Company Description Federal Masonry Restoration is a family owned and operated full service masonry restoration and construction company with extensive experience with restoring, repairing, building and preserving historic and contemporary structures throughout Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.
