EngineerAs a Fidelis Cybersecurity Engineer, you will work
individually or in a small team to develop innovative solutions to
enable secure and reliable operations of enterprise computer
systems. You'll develop new concepts and processes and analyze root
causes, and resolve complex issues utilizing your knowledge of the
industry. You'll perform systems administration of cyber tool sets
and server systems connected to networks across multiple
classification domains. You will provide support to developmental
and operational systems, including day-to-day operations,
monitoring, and problem resolution for all client, server, storage,
or network devices. You'll install, configure, and manage the
operating system and application software as necessary. You will
support Linux and Windows systems engineering efforts in system
design and evaluation, solution engineering, software development,
or system administration.With mentoring, challenging hands-on

customers.What You'll Work On:
- Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams,
communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of
audiences, including senior management.
- Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including
enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved
event correlation in large enterprises.
- Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system,
and application areas.
- Leverage big data analytics and traditional security event
types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.You
Have:
- 3+ years of experience as a system administrator
- Experience with installing or configuring devices,
applications, and security tools, including Fidelis
- Experience maintaining, engineering, deploying, and configuring
Fidelis DLP and XPS appliances, including DirectSensor 10G, Mail
DLP, and CommandPost, through both iLO and connected directly to
the appliance via SSH or Console Port
- Experience operating and maintaining Linux servers, including
operating systems and applications, patching, and other
updates
- Ability to analyze and respond to Fidelis system logs, security
logs, and other events to troubleshoot Fidelis appliance stack and
network issues to ensure it remains fully operational
- Active TS / SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph
exam
- HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience as a system
administrator, Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience as a
system administrator, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of
experience as a system administrator
- Completion of 10+ hours of Fidelis training, including Udemy or
self-paced training videos with a completion certificate
- Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, including Security+
CE, CCNA - Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND
Certification
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01 Cybersecurity Service Provider
(CSSP) - Infrastructure Support (IS) Certification, including CEH,
CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND Certification, before
start dateNice If You Have:
- Experience operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows and
Linux servers, including operating systems
- Experience with basic Linux server command line usage and
performing Linux OS updates and upgrades on a server remotely via
SSH
- Experience as a SOC Analyst, Hunt Analyst, DLP Analyst, or with
Fidelis DLP in an administrative and monitoring capacity
- Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework
- Experience automating deployments and configuration
management
- Experience as a network administrator or systems engineer
- Experience using Active Directory to manage Windows
policies
- Knowledge of different layers of the technology stack,
including network, application frameworks, database systems, and
vendor solutions
- Knowledge of Git and Atlassian tools, including Jira,
Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or similar products for graphic and
flowchart designClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a

is determined by various factors, including but not limited to
location, the individual's particular combination of education,
knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as
contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to
$176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the
typical salary range for this position and is just one component of
Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting
will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.Work ModelOur
