Job Description:
A Family Medicine Clinic is seeking a Family Medicine Physician
for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Martinsburg,
West Virginia. This is a 12-month full-time Family Medicine
physician assignment (MD/DO only), with a 40-hour workweek
(MondayFriday, 8am5pm). The credentialing process typically takes
6090 days but may vary depending on candidate responsiveness. The
clinic sees an average of 18 patients per day across all age
groups, with support from 2 advanced practice providers (NP and
PA), as well as a team of MAs, registration staff, and a lead MA.
The position requires a West Virginia license, active DEA, and
board certification in Family Medicine. COVID or flu vaccinations
are preferred but not required. Clinical responsibilities include
direct patient care for chronic conditions, well and sick visits,
and procedures such as IUD placements, joint injections, and basic
dermatological treatments. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years
of experience in ambulatory family medicine, is hardworking, and
comfortable managing chronic care. The facility uses an EMR system
and does not require call coverage. Dates Needed: September - 12
