Emergency Department - Full-Time Evenings 3 PM - 3 AM The Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Emergency Department plays a vital
role in delivering patient care under the supervision of a
Registered Nurse (RN). This position emphasizes the importance of
maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Key
responsibilities include collaborating with various departments to
coordinate care, ensuring professional accountability, and
complying with state nursing licensure regulations. This full-time

us! Utilizing the nursing process, the LPN provides care to
patients under the guidance of licensed professionals authorized to
prescribe treatments or under the direction of an RN. The LPN is
accountable for the quality of care provided to assigned patients
and works in conjunction with other departments to ensure
comprehensive patient care while safeguarding patient rights and
confidentiality. Position Overview: Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) Location: Emergency Department Status: Full-Time (36
hours/week) Shift: Evenings Incentives: Sign-on bonus for

parking Qualifications: Education: Must be a graduate of an
accredited practical nursing program; equivalent educational
experience and successful licensure will also be considered.
Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN
license in the state of employment, meeting all State Board of
Nursing requirements. Certifications: Depending on the specific
unit, one or more of the following certifications may be required
or must be obtained within a designated timeframe: ACLS (Advanced
Cardiac Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) PEARS
(Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) S.T.A.B.L.E.
(Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And
Emotional Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through
the American Heart Association or completion of the course within
30 days of hire IV Certification within one year of hire Other
unit-specific certifications as necessary. Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged standing and walking required during shifts. Capability
to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed for job
