School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
school psychologist opportunity is available at a high school
located in the Washington DC area, approximately 45 minutes south
of DC. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through
May 29, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek. The role is based at a
single high school and involves working closely with the district's
mental health support team, including social workers, to support
student wellbeing. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive
psychological evaluations to support student academic and emotional
needs Collaborate as an active member of the school districts
mental health support team Provide targeted interventions and
support to enhance student outcomes Work directly with staff and
families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain
compliance with all district policies and licensure requirements
Qualifications: Active Psychologist license Valid Virginia
Department of Education (DOE) certification Experience working in
school settings, preferably with high school-aged students Strong
skills in psychoeducational evaluation and assessment Ability to
collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Location:
Washington DC metropolitan area, approximately 45 minutes south of
