Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2
years of NICU experience, NICU II experience required, CPAP
experience required License: Valid state license required
Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE Must-Have: - Previous charge
experience preferred - Experience with Cerner charting system
required - Proficient in respiratory support, central line
management, and neonatal resuscitation Description: The role
involves providing care for neonates in a Level II nursery.
Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining stability of
cardiopulmonary, neurologic, metabolic, and thermal functions. You
will assist with specialized procedures such as lumbar puncture and
endotracheal resuscitation of newborns. The RN will initiate,
modify, or stop treatment according to established protocols or
orders. Every other weekend and holiday are required. Floating to
other departments for neonatal care may also be necessary.
Proficiency in managing various respiratory support systems,
central lines, and IV administration is essential. You will work
closely with interdisciplinary support teams including respiratory
services and social services. The position requires knowledge of
stabilization for newborns less than 32 weeks and thermoregulation
for both pre-term and full-term infants. Must be proficient in
neonatal resuscitation with current NRP and S.T.A.B.L.E.
certifications. This fast-paced environment requires the ability to
handle diverse patient diagnoses and meet the needs of a daily
census averaging 2-3 patients. Requirements Required for Onboarding
