Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: York, PA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,218 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Epic charting experience required First time travelers accepted Description: This position is for a registered nurse in an intermediate care unit. Candidates will be required to work night shifts, three or four times a week. Shifts will be from 18:45 to 07:15 with weekend and holiday coverage as needed. No requests for time off exceeding seven days will be approved. Candidate will undergo clinical review to determine fit for the role. Once clinical guidelines are met, candidates will be presented to management for a final interview decision. Floating to other areas may be required, including potential assignment to rehabilitation. The unit primarily cares for patients with respiratory issues, including COPD and pneumonia. Candidates may care for ventilated patients and those with tracheostomies. Candidates should be prepared to care for patients experiencing alcohol withdrawal, sepsis, and end-stage renal disease. The facility maintains a tobacco-free and fragrance-free environment. Additional skills required include managing central lines, arterial lines, and blood products. Nurses must be proficient in telemetry, managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, and pre/post-hemodialysis care. Wound care experience is also necessary. The work environment includes a mixed acuity unit with a total of 56 beds, specifically focusing on intermediate care. Interdisciplinary support available includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS
