Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit – Washington Start Date: December 1, 2025 Location: Washington, District of Columbia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, night shift, on an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit Highlights: Work in a dynamic Intermediate Care environment providing specialized nursing care Night shift schedule offering three 12-hour shifts per week Utilize Cerner EMR system for streamlined documentation and patient care coordination Collaborative team-based approach to patient care across all age groups Opportunity to apply advanced assessment and clinical skills in a progressive care setting Requirements: Current Registered Nurse license in Washington, DC Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required NIHSS certification required BLS and ACLS certification required Experience with Cerner EMR system required BSN degree highly desired Must reside at least 50 miles from facility location Why It's a Great Opportunity: This Intermediate Care Unit position offers the chance to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive environment that values competence, compassion, and clinical excellence.
