Registered Nurse (RN) | Wound/Ostomy Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,400 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Wound/Ostomy RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21201! Job Title: Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 1 year experience required; will accept first-time travelers with strong skill/experience License: RN state license Certifications: WCC, BLS required; WOCN preferred Must-Have: - Strong skills in wound care and management - Ability to assess and manage various wound types - Experience with ostomy care and management Description: Inpatient Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) position for days, block schedule (Monday to Friday). Responsibilities include rounding on 4 to 5 units daily. The nurse will care for patients of all age groups. Patient diagnoses include pressure injuries, chronic and acute wounds, and ostomies. Floating may be required within the specialty as needed. Weekly census will average around 15 patients per day. Holiday work is required as scheduled, and weekends are not required. The role involves providing education and support to patients and their families regarding wound care and ostomy management. Candidates should be comfortable with infection control practices and using various wound care products. A strong emphasis on patient/family teaching is necessary. Travelers will be required to comply with all relevant protocols and documentation. References from recent employers may be required.
