Job Description:
Encompass Health Mechanicsburg is currently seeking a dedicated
Speech Pathologist to join our team of healthcare professionals
dedicated to delivering high-quality, integrated care. This role is
crucial in helping patients recover from life-changing illnesses
and injuries by providing expert speech, language, voice, and
swallowing therapies. The successful candidate will be entrusted
with the evaluation and treatment of communication disorders and
swallowing problems, working closely within our interdisciplinary
team to enhance patient outcomes. Assess and treat individuals with
speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. Develop and
implement effective treatment plans based on patient needs and
goals. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide
treatment. Advise and educate patients and families on
communication techniques and strategies. Maintain accurate and
timely patient documentation. Expertise in all areas of
speech-language pathology Ability to handle emotionally challenging
situations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state license as a
Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
