ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - IR Job Details: • Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with on-call rotation responsibilities • On-call rotation after hours and weekends with 6 other RNs • Must respond within 30 minutes while on call • Weekend and weekday coverage provided by on-call rotation • Handle 4-6 cases per day on average in 2 IR suites • Work with patients ranging from young adults (18-45) to geriatric populations (60) • Perform common procedures including peripheral angios, endovascular repair, PICCs, Para/Thora, and embolizations • All cases completed in lab setting with basic IR procedures (no neuro or cardiac) • Must be proficient with IV insertion and have critical care experience • Minimum 1 year equivalent experience in Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Interventional Radiology, Intensive Care, Emergency Department, or Progressive Cardiac Care • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Virginia RN license required • Must be graduate of accredited school of nursing • Epic EMR system experience required (Cupid module) • Maroon scrubs provided • 1 week unit orientation • Holiday expectations include 1 major and/or minor holiday • No floating expectations Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Interventional Radiology department featuring 2 IR suites that handle a variety of minimally invasive procedures.
