Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse
Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per
Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: 2 years required
License: Must have valid state license in hand Certifications: BLS,
CNOR*, CST* Must-Have: Must have experience in the majority of
specified procedures. Description: Position requires every other
weekend and holiday. On-call is required, with 2 night calls and 3
weekend calls per month. Night calls during the week are from 11 PM
to 7 AM. Weekend call shifts are 7 AM to 3 PM, 3 PM to 11 PM, or 11
PM to 7 AM. No block scheduling is available. Facility is a Trauma
Level 1 Teaching Hospital. Total staffed beds in the facility is
228. Scrub color is provided. Charting utilized is SIS. Previous
charge experience is a plus. Experience with trauma level
procedures is expected. Position supports various specialties,
including orthopedic and neurological surgeries. Interdisciplinary
support is available, including interpretation services and unit
secretary. Daily census averages around 25 patients. Candidates may
float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital.
Candidates with robotic surgery experience may be trained as
needed. Two supervisor references are required. Travel experience
