with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Washington, Washington DC, 20032! Job Title: Registered Nurse

Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Med Tele Acute Care Inpatient,
1 year of Cerner experience required License: Current license to
practice as a Registered Nurse in the state Certifications: NIHSS,
BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: BSN highly desired, ability to
complete a Telemetry rhythm interpretation test prior to start
Description: Must live more than 50 miles away from the facility.
Work schedule is 3 x 12s on day shift. The nurse to patient ratio
is 1:5-6. The unit typically has 16 patients, so two nurses may
have 5 patients each and one nurse may have 6. Fulfills the needs
of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of
patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure,
certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care
to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.
Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span
necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability
to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs.
Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by
patients. Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate
nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate
documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all
assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by
documentation. Completes admission assessments within the
established timeframe according to policy and procedures. 5
