Registered Nurse (RN) | Surgical Intensive Care Unit Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,027 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified SICU RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20060! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Every other weekend and every other holiday are required. Candidates must float within the facility to meet needs. Description: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. The manager prefers candidates with 4 years of experience. First-timers are accepted for this role. The patient ratios are 1:2. The facility provides care for post-trauma and surgical patients. Interdisciplinary support includes various healthcare professionals. There is a requirement to manage multiple high acuity patient needs. Skills required include the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Experience with various medical equipment and procedures is essential. Vaccination for COVID-19 is required with no exemptions.
