working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in York,
Pennsylvania, 17403! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per
Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active nursing
license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: EPIC
experience required Description: Schedule requirements include
working 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM and 7 PM. Weekend
and holiday shifts may be required as needed. Candidates must be
willing to stay until the last patient is cared for. Call duties
are required but are very minimal, primarily supporting full-time
staff as needed. Candidates will undergo a clinical review to
determine fit for the role. If the candidate passes the clinical
review and meets guidelines, they will be presented to the manager
for a final decision. The unit performs over 6,000 procedures
annually and offers advanced cardiovascular treatments. Procedures
include complex coronary interventions, ventricular assist device
procedures, and various cardiac ablations. Candidates may be
required to care for COVID patients. The facility maintains a
tobacco and fragrance-free environment. Additionally, the candidate
will have responsibilities in pre and post-procedure care.
Essential skills include starting and maintaining IVs, managing
cardiac devices, and performing various cardiac procedures.
Candidates will work closely with interdisciplinary teams. The unit
comprises multiple specialized labs and prep/recovery bays for
patient care. Candidates should have experience with patient ratios
and charting systems relevant to the specialty. The position
requires a deep understanding of cardiovascular care and related
technologies. Special procedures include, but are not limited to,
catheterizations, diagnostic monitoring, and administration of
medications during procedures. The facility expects adherence to
infection prevention practices and isolation precautions.
Monitoring procedural sedation and the ability to interpret and
