Job DescriptionBAE Systems is seeking a PML Application
Developer to support the Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP)
for the Nuclear Armed, Sea Launch Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) program,
a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system in development. The primary
responsibility is to lead work on PLM engineering solutions,
including configuration management, process development, and
requirements traceability. The role also involves providing
technical support for configuration, testing, deployment, and
implementation of PLM technology to support system engineering
processes and expand into related business areas.In this job, you
will:
- Perform technical work requiring in-depth knowledge of product
lifecycle management or data management principles, theories, and
practices.
- Ensure configuration management processes are executed across
the lifecycle and report on project status.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and product teams to
modernize policies, processes, and support PLM implementation in a
digital engineering environment.
- Research emerging trends and best practices in product
lifecycle management in a model-based environment.
- Develop and update PLM system requirement specifications,
including mapping new requirements to capabilities.
- Perform verification and validation activities to analyze
configuration gaps and perform regression testing.
- Coordinate migration of design documents and work processes
into a Windchill PLM architecture.
- Prepare and facilitate training for users.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PLM technology developments to
ensure cost-effectiveness and identify new opportunities.About BAE

SkillsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or a technical discipline
plus at least four years of relevant experience or equivalent
education and experience. Skills include:
- Experience with PTC Windchill
- Excellent communication skillsPreferred Education, Experience,
& Skills
- Experience with SSP programs and processes
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software,
Mathematics, or Physics (preferred)
- Experience with DoD IT networks
- 2+ years in PLM/CAD/DOORS integration and implementation
- Intermediate SysML development experiencePay and BenefitsSalary
range: $95,106 - $161,680. Benefits include health, dental, vision,
