(ADEA) is seeking to add an experienced Senior Manager, Web Design
and Development to its team.The Senior Manager, Web Design and
Development manages and designs high-quality, user-friendly web
pages by combining web design expertise with front-end development
skills. While the core responsibilities emphasize timely, creative
web design and implementation, the role also supports broader
digital strategy efforts by collaborating with stakeholders to
continuously improve the website's effectiveness in line with the
organization's communications priorities and goals. This position
works collaboratively, coordinating cross-departmental efforts to
gather information and seek input from across the association
regarding content needs and priorities, and maintains Google
Analytics for all websites that support strategic marketing
initiatives in all digital channels. The Senior Manager reports to
the Vice President of Marketing and Branding. This position does
not currently have any direct reports.Primary Responsibilities
- Manages and executes day-to-day front-end operations and
ongoing optimization of multiple websites (adea.org,
adea.org/godental, adea.org/adeagiesfoundation) and addresses any
real-time issues.
- Develops content design and development plans for new content
and continuously improves site design.
- Work collaboratively on web design projects to form project
timelines and track complex projects through all stages of creative
development, from briefing to production and final delivery.
- Creates responsive web designs, copy layouts, landing pages,
interactive visuals and other digital assets within branding
guidelines and style guides, ensuring seamless translation across
devices.
- Improves ADEA's website performance by maintaining web
standards and UX best practices and testing.
- Collaborates on short-term and long-term visions and strategies
for website enhancements.
- Maintains the site section and folders of all websites to
ensure orderly system.
- Manages content and postings on the website in close
coordination with department cross-divisional colleagues.
- Communicates efficiently and effectively with internal
stakeholders to create digital assets to support communications
priorities and develop event and program pages of the website(s) in
concert with marketing plans.
- Monitors web content for currency, consistency, accuracy and
alignment with division and organization- wide priorities.
- Provides consultative support for new digital technology
implementations and integrations.
- Keeps up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and
tools.
- Provides Google Analytics reporting for the ADEA and ADEA
GoDental websites on an ongoing basis to enhance digital strategy
optimization and articulates rationale to the staff.
- Makes budget recommendations related to website and digital
communications.
- Develops SOPs and web content calendars.
- Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in digital media/technology, communications,
marketing or a liberal arts field required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in website management,
front-end design, digital marketing and/or website development. An
advanced degree may be substituted for work experience.
- HTML, CSS, and website analytics tools like the Google Suite
(Analytics, Optimize, Search Console, and Tag Manager).
- Experience with Sitefinity or similar content management system
(CMS) required.
- Experience with association management systems (AMS) and email
marketing platforms preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative
Suite.
- Exceptional time management and project management skills with
the ability to multitask and prioritize as needed.
- Proven ability to think both strategically and creatively while
maintaining a focus on details and deadlines.
- Strong attention-to-detail and organizational skills
required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with
strong interpersonal abilities, ensure the effective communication
of technical information for non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a
fast-paced environment.
- Ability to synthesize information for reporting purposes and
provide recommendations.
- Self-starter who seeks to expand their knowledge and
capabilities in web content strategy and digital marketing.
- Experience in website accessibility and mobile app development
is preferred.
- Familiarity with membership associations is also desired.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a diverse team
environment and collaborate effectively with others.
- Ability to travel to member meetings and support ADEA events,
including some weekends.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule, currently 3 days a week
onsite in the DC office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; and
can work from home on Mondays and Fridays.This position's salary
range is $100,000 to $115,000. In addition to a rewarding and
