Job Description:
Our field sales professionals rely on proactive technical
support during the sales process – and our expert Sales Engineering
team always steps up to the mark. We are the technical liaison
between sales and prospective customers. We work closely with sales
representatives to understand client needs and demonstrate how
Boomis integration platform can solve complex business challenges.
From delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations to
developing detailed installation or system integration plans, we
ensure customers get the innovative, relevant, interoperable
solutions they need. What Youll Do As a Presales Solutions
Engineer, you will provide pre-sales technical support to our field
sales teams, helping to define the overall Boomi solution for our
customers using the full range of company products and services.
You will: • Collaborate with Account Executives to help determine
customer’s needs, understand the technical landscape, and identify
pain points via discovery calls • Assess and present the potential
solutions of company products and services, using technical
competency and creativity to design business solutions that
encompass the breadth of the Boomi portfolio • Prepare detailed
product specifications and deliver impactful presentations to
enable the sale of our products and solutions. • Discuss product
capabilities and applications with technical users/buyers, and
business stakeholders, verifying the operability of product and
service configuration within the prospects environment via Demos or
Proof of Concept • Coordinate internal specialists and other
necessary Boomi employees to help build the “win team” for
prospective customers • Support RFI/RFP completion by answering
in-scope technical questions for prospective customers • Verify
operability of sophisticated product and service configurations
within the customer’s environment • Perform advanced systems
integration and provide technical expertise to design the solution
The Experience You Bring • Excellent communication, relationship,
problem-solving and leadership skills • Ability to present to
executive level and articulate the Boomi solutions • Familiarity
with LLMs and their applications in chat-based AI. • Experience
with web services, APIs, and enterprise messaging • Hands-on
experience with IPaaS technologies and integration architecture. •
Strong understanding of prompt engineering and advanced techniques
to enhance LLM performance. • Proficiency in using APIs from
platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, Antropic, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI,
Gemini, and others. Bonus Points If You Have • Experience with
complementary technologies (e.g., API management, MDM, AI, ELT, and
Data Analytics)
