As a Jira Implementation Specialist , you will operate as a functional lead adjacent to engineering and infrastructure teams to deliver end?to?end process and data solutions. You’ll own a specific instance for Jira/Jira Cloud configuration governance, workflow standardization, dashboards and reporting, and the planning/execution of cloud and data migration initiatives. You’ll define requirements, coordinate user acceptance, and champion security, compliance, and change management best practices across the organization. The Work: Jira Administration & Governance: Design, administer, and maintain Jira configurations (workflows, permission schemes, field schemes, issue types, boards, JQL, and automations). Establish reusable templates and standards. Process Standardization: Map business requirements into consistent workflows and SLAs; document processes and change controls; drive adoption across teams. Functional Data Leadership: Lead data mapping and quality controls for large migrations; create data dictionaries, transformation rules, reconciliation reports; define acceptance criteria. Cloud Migration Enablement: Plan and execute Jira Cloud migration activities (assessment, cleanup, app compatibility, JCMA runs, validation, cutover, and rollback readiness). Dashboards & Reporting: Develop actionable dashboards for flow metrics (cycle time, throughput, WIP, SLA performance) and executive scorecards; manage filters and shared permissions. Security & Compliance: Partner with security/infra to implement SSO/SCIM, least?privilege RBAC, audit logging, and change control; ensure data privacy and retention standards. Enablement & Support: Train users; build runbooks; troubleshoot issues; champion continuous improvement and cross?team collaboration. Here Is What You Need: Advanced experience with Jira/Jira Cloud administration and workflow design. Proven functional data lead background (data mapping, quality, migration planning). Expertise in requirements mapping and translating business needs into Jira configurations. Demonstrated ability to standardize processes across multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication, stakeholder facilitation, and documentation skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Bonus If You Have: Experience facilitating infrastructure/security discussions Track record of large data migrations with reconciliation reporting and quality gates. Education No formal degree required As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
