Job Description:

At Clean Harbors, as a Class B CDL Relief Route Driver, you'll be essential in our mission to protect the environment by facilitating the safe and efficient transportation and disposal of hazardous materials. You'll step into routes in the absence of regular drivers, ensuring seamless service and compliance with all regulations. This role is crucial in preventing environmental hazards and contributing to sustainability efforts, providing a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in environmental safety and conservation. Operate Class B vehicles on assigned relief routes to replace regular drivers when necessary. Ensure safe and compliant transportation and disposal of hazardous materials. Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain clean and safe operating conditions. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding hazardous materials transportation. Communicate effectively with dispatch and route managers to report any issues or deviations. Assist with loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling and documentation. Proficiency in operating Class B vehicles Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and disposal regulations Strong safety orientation and attention to detail Ability to navigate routes efficiently Effective communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazardous Materials Endorsement Clean driving record DOT medical certification
