2025Seattle Country Day School (SCDS) is an independent school that
serves more than 400 gifted students, grades K-8, on a 2.4-acre
campus on the north slope of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle,
Washington.At SCDS, we know gifted children can be intense, verbal,

seeks a development 'go-to' person with a positive attitude, talent
for organization, and an ability to execute events and tasks. Must
be self-directed, exceptionally organized, accurate, flexible,
donor-centered, and a quick learner. Ability to interact well with
staff, administration, parents, and the SCDS Board of Trustees is
crucial. Computer proficiency and database management experience
are required.A four-year degree is required, and
development/fundraising experience in a nonprofit setting is
preferred. The successful candidate must also have demonstrated
ability to assist with volunteers, event planning and production,
fundraising initiatives/campaigns, as well as database management.
Strong writing and editing skills and experience with Veracross are
also preferred.ResponsibilitiesBeing able to work full-time on the
physical campus is an essential function of this position. Work
hours may include days and times outside of the regular work
day/week. The development associate will report to the director of
