Job Description:

Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:Monitors and improves transport loading / unloading operation.
Examines overall execution and processes, identifies corrective actions, and implements procedural changes to correct deficiencies or to increase efficiency/productivity.Establishes, communicates, and monitors productivity targets / expectations for each warehouse function in alignment with corporate goals and KPI's (including delivery targets).
Creates and executes plans to achieve targets.Manages supplies inventory for warehouse, adhering to department budget, but also ensuring levels are adequate for efficient operation.
Creates purchase requisitions to supply internal and external warehouses with shipping materials.
Properly codes all PR's and invoices.Coordinates with procurement for cost savings opportunities for supplies and services related to the warehouse.Manages and address customer complaints (non-conformances). Perform root cause analysis, investigate and respond to customer complaints as necessary.Acts as Gatekeeper for maintenance requests for BMOCProvides oversight for building, including alarm system, office cleaning, and general supplies to maintain building (i.e. kitchen and office supplies).
Ensures that standards are followed for adherence to contracts, GMP and budgets.Ensures the food safety needs are being met at BMOC, this includes but is not limited to the food defense program.Recommends building projects to improve safety, GMP and/or efficiency.
Completes MOC process, as required.
Execute smaller projects, as directed, including managing contractors.Be a safety leader for the site, including reporting incidents, near misses and first aid cases and leading RCA's.
Ensures action items are completed, as assigned.Manages warehouse department, with direct supervision of logistics lead, inventory lead, warehouse supervisor and warehouse lead, with indirect supervision of warehouse personnel.
Responsible for development and performance management of direct reports.Ensures the facility meets ISO requirements, including GMP procedure and documentation adherence.Manages uniforms, locker assignments, and access to PPE for all employees at BMOC.Coordinates with outside warehouses to ensure transfers to and from Belcamp are efficient, budgets are maintained, and standards are met.Execution of returns process in warehouseOperates and leads using IPS toolsReads, understands, and executes the instructions of the Blend & Warehouse Value Stream ManagerWarehouse Department Manager will have:Ability to manage a warehouse environment, including capability to perform effectively in high stress, emergency, and crisis situations.Ability to train and coach others to improve performanceStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to lead in a team environment, motivate, build consensus, and foster positive relationships with team members and contractors.Capacity to solve problems through creative, innovative solutions and challenge traditional methods of accomplishing tasks.Ability to utilize knowledge and experience to recognize and implement opportunities for improvement.Ability to learn and apply Ingredion's GMP, Quality and Safety standards.Ability to collect, analyze and report data in an understandable format for a variety of audiences.Position type and expected hours of work:Full time, approximate hours Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4 pmEducation and experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience with shipping and receiving in a warehouse setting, food preferredBachelors degree in related field or equivalent experienceExperience managing direct reports, including performance management required.
