This is a full time position, 40 hours a week, 2 evenings a week until 7:00PM. Ideal candidate will be interested in Orthopedic Therapy.We offer a 1:1 patient treatment model, a formal mentorship program a commitment to continuing education and personal growth.https://www.inova.org/locations/inova-physical-therapy-center-franconia-springfield_Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience._ _We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation._*Inova Benefits and Perks:** *Health, Vision, and Dental Coverage** Tuition reimbursement and Educational Assistance* Student loan assistance up to $10,000!* State-of-the-art medical and training facilities* Paid parental leave for birth/adoption of a child.* Retirement benefits with match from day one* Free Parking to all employees* Exclusive savings opportunities to in-store events, theme parks, discounts, movie tickets and local offerings and so much more!*Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:** Documents the results of evaluations clearly and completely by including all essential elements according to department policy.* Completes daily progress notes that reflect patients' responses to treatment, actual performance, and an assessment as to status relevant to the treatment plan in addition to eventual discharge needs and treatment summaries if needed.* Completes discharge notes that include a summary of the course of treatment, progress toward goals, discharge needs, recommendations for follow-up and patient and/or family education.* Documents clearly, concisely and legibly within established timeframes (e.g. allows other therapists to continue treatment, allows for interpretation by payers, supports reimbursements).* Documents evidence of patient and family/caregiver education.* Contacts families, physicians or other healthcare team members in anticipation of special needs of the patients or families in a timely manner to facilitate effective treatment plans.*Physical Therapist Additional Requirements:** While one year experience in a Physical Therapy setting is desired, we will accept entry level physical therapists.* Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Masters Preferred* Virginia Physical Therapist license in good standing* Must also have BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association upon start.About UsWe are Inova, Northern Virginias leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
